thank God for the company on sunday night. (: lynn, linda, deirdre, flannery, vinnie, serena – such a joyous bunch of people. haha and the show was better than i expected, despite being labelled as a “chick flick”. haha but i’m not afraid to say that i really did enjoyed the show (:

week 12 aka ”hell week for shu hua” is over!!! i really cant believe that i survived. 3 presentations and CT installation project, officially declared over and conquered! (:
it started with the HUGE presentation for BGS (business govt and society) on tuesday. t’was my first time wearing the whole suit with blazer and all for a presentation – who wears full formal for a year one presentation anyway? It was one major presentation even though it was NOT graded because it was important in setting a good impression for our research report which is due 2 weeks from now. Levine (our ‘infamous’ bgs prof haha) invited 3 discussants, them being the Ambassador of Turkey, Country Director of SAGIA ASEAN and General Manager of Microsoft (who didn’t come that day). it was quite funny cos we girls (yes, we were all-girls team of 5, hot stuff eh haha 
thought we were screwed, but in the end the comments were actually pretty good. better than we expected. well done babes (: and im particularly proud of our achievement because i knew we deserved it. i wldnt elaborate how much work we actually put in, but all i can say is that, hardwork really really pays off. shermin, zhe ya, kai lee and bernice – we did it. (: half the battle won, still left bgs report to go!
before i could take a break and catch up on my sleep debt, i had to launch right into the preparation for my political science presentation the next day. so went to meet my pol science group at this really cool spot in the admin building (very good place to emo) and stayed up with them untill 11pm to finish it. but i felt good, cos bgs presentation went well! had it went the other way, i’d probably be :( throughout the meeting. hahah
wednesday came and gone. and i managed to catch up some sleep on thursday, my free day! but nevertheless still had to go back to school to oversee the CT rehearsal for our installation project on friday night. i had an individual econs presentation due on friday as well, but i thought i shld be able to finish it fast…but i was wrong. i underestimated the effort it would take me to solve the econs questions allocated to us (esp when i hadnt been listening for the past few lessons) and in the end i suffered the consequences and had to stay up till 5am to finish up the slides. sigh complacent me, thought i had all the time in the world to do them. will have to work on that aspect. =]
and today was another big day! after econs presentation, rushed to finish AS worksheet with serena (did i mention i’m so glad we’re in the same class together?X)), had lunch at kopitiam, then rushed back to prepare for our CT Installation project! it was pretty exciting in my opinion, cos you see all four of margaret chan’s classes putting up their class exhibits all over the concourse, people staring and wondering, students dressing up and rehearsing for the exhibition. it was truly one-of-kind experience and it was at that point in time that i was grateful that i bidded for margaret chan. only she would make us do these kind of things, seriously. hahah.
at this juncture i wanna applaud my as/ct class for their professionalism and effort for this project. i seriously can’t ask for a better class. the guys are seriously off sometimes, but its okay, we forgive them for that. and the girls are simply hilarious bunch. nice people, im glad we pulled it off. (: check out our facebook group G1 CT Exhibtion – Tag you’re it?! hopefully we’ll be able to share what our idea was over there.
went for supper with some of them after that at rochor beancurd place. (: the common few topics were brought up; which school we thought to have the best-looking people (jian rong has weird taste), where to go for exchange etc. but it was then that i realised that there are some issues on which i feel we’re just very different about. issues like drinking, what we look for in camps, in people etc. some issues that cant be reconciled at this moment. so when that happens, just laugh and smile.
long day tmr! but at least the bulk of it is over.
thank God thank God thank God. It was by His grace that i managed to not fall sick miraculously despite all the late nights (haha serena can testify), managed to not break down under stress depite having to divide my attention into the many areas of my life. my only regret is that I could have spent more time with God and not have compromised on quiet time. that’s why one friend’s words still stuck in my head “will you do your quiet time tonight?” until now.
how is it that God treats me so well despite all my shortcomings?

but i appreciated the fact that you were probably typing it amidst your own busy schedule hence the accidental typo in the msg but still managed to msged me to remind me of seemingly mundane but precious things in life.
thank you xueli. although you may really be zany and a little ‘off’ at times, but i still love you all the same, for who you are deep down inside. thank you for being there.
